About HRA Santa Fe
HRA Santa Fe
Welcome to the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance (HRA), a beacon of advocacy and inclusivity since its establishment in 1993. Rooted in the aftermath of the defeat of Senate Bill 91, the HRA was born out of the passionate response of local activists who refused to accept discrimination as a norm. Committed to the principles of education, engagement, encouragement, and celebration, our non-profit organization strives to foster LGBTQ+ inclusion and pride, promoting acceptance for all individuals.
At the core of our mission is the dedication to ending discrimination in all its forms. The HRA actively collaborates with diverse groups to champion the civil rights of every New Mexican, fostering coalitions that work towards a more inclusive and equitable society. Our outreach programs are designed to provide vital support to the community, ensuring that the spirit of acceptance and pride extends far beyond our organization's initiatives. One of our flagship events is the annual Santa Fe Pride Festival, a vibrant celebration held at the end of June, uniting Santa Fe citizens in a joyous homage to the unique, diverse, supportive, and artistic community that defines Santa Fe. Join us in our pursuit of a world where equality is not just a dream but a reality for all.
