This specific focus group will be a working lunch that Artspace will facilitate to encourage open discussion about the arts scene, needs, access issues and specific challenges faced by those identifying as Black, Indigenous or as a Person of Color, as well as to identify what is celebrated within district cultural districts. 

This is an in-person focus group that will take place on Thursday, February 22: 5-7pm at FUSION: 700 1st St. NW. Artspace will present and then host break-out sessions to focus on specific issues. 

We will be catering lunch from TuertaPlease RSVP and list any food restrictions by going here. We need responses by Friday, February 10 so that we can order enough food. 

We have a couple focus groups and meetings we are organizing around Artspace visiting so you may be receiving multiple emails if you fall under a few categories. If you can’t attend yourself please send another staff person, board member, community member or friend who can speak to these kinds of topics. Please forward/share this email to other people we may have missed if another artist/organization would like to participate.
