About this event

This Entrepreneurial Mindset workshop series is designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide.

The overall objective is to empower learners through entrepreneurial thinking and immerse them in entrepreneurial experiences that will enable them to develop entrepreneurial skills. This program covers eight lessons over four, four-hour sessions that guide the participant through the process of developing an entrepreneurial mindset as well as exposing the learner to the Lean Canvas for developing their business model.

You will get the most by attending live, but don't worry if you have to miss a session. Sessions will be recorded so you can catch up before the next session.

Schedule: Fridays: Feb. 25, Mar. 4, Mar.11, Mar.18,

Time: 1:00pm to 5:00pm MT

Location: Online

 

Upon completion, participants will learn to:

1. SEEK & SEIZE OPPORTUNITY: Develop critical thinking skills that enables entrepreneurs to identify and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities, manage risks, and learn from the results

2. TRANSFORM IDEAS: Explore the process that enables entrepreneurs with limited resources to transform a simple idea into a sustainable success.

3. APPLY TO LIFE: Apply fundamental aspects of entrepreneurial thinking across disciplines and as a means of personal empowerment.

4. ORGANIZE: Establish goals, identify resources, and determine the steps required to accomplish their goals.

5. VALIDATE: Identify and interact with potential customers to validate assumptions for developing a business idea

6. BUILD: Learn and utilize the Lean Canvas for building a preliminary business model
