The grants are expected to range from $10,000 to $25,000 and funds can be used for things like updating security and security protocols, updating/purchasing new equipment, community involvement, marketing and PR services, updating digital/e-commerce presence, purchasing product, staff training programs, employee pay and/or staff incentivized wages, COVID-19 recovery, and maintenance/updating of current infrastructure, etc.
The round of grant applications for our region opens on March 15 and closes April 5, 2023.

The Drawer Boy by Michael Healey and directed by Marc Comstock follows Miles, a young actor from the big city who moves in with two bachelor-farmers to do research for a new play. Anxious for material, Miles includes an overheard conversation and includes it in her play, unwittingly breaking open the fragile arrangement of the farmer’s lives and the healing power of truth.
The Drawer Boy by Michael Healey opens Friday, March 24, 2023 with a preview performance on March 23rd, and runs through Sunday, April 9. The theater’s Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shows are performed at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees are at 2pm.
The New Mexico OUT Business Alliance is hosting the New Mexico LGBTQ+ Business Conference, Friday, March 24th, 2023 at Hotel Albuquerque.
The conference will focus attention on topics facing our LGBTQ+ business community in New Mexico. The Film Industry, Cannabis, Funding, Marketing, Tourism and much more. The day starts off with a trade show and continental breakfast followed by a series of educational breakouts and then lunch with renewed local presenters and ends with tour excursions to local businesses.
